Traditionally hot water cylinders have been installed inside, to keep them safe from the elements and keep all electricals clean and dry.
There are some downsides to this of course, it takes up increasingly precious floor space, and has the potential to cause a LOT of damage should failure occur. Also, if you wish to upgrade from a low pressure 135L cylinder a modern 180 mains pressure cylinder may not fit in the same space, and will require new drains to be run, which could result in more difficulty and escalating costs.
Thanks to advances in insulation and materials technology there are now a range of electric hot water cylinders available for outdoor use, from just $2,982 including gst, we can supply and install your new 180 Litre outdoor mains pressure cylinder, complete with valve pack and up to $500 of electrical (in our experience unless there are existing issues this will always cover the cost to install hook up your new cylinder)
