Auckland CCTV Drain Inspection Services
Need to inspect underground drainage? Our technicians have over 15 years experience in CCTV drain inspection, and are equipped with the latest drain camera technology to provide a high quality assessment of your water pipes and sewer lines.
Our CCTV technicians use a closed circuit, video drain camera to inspect drains, pipelines, sewer and storm water lines outside or underneath your property. We run a push through drain camera into the drain pipes in order to asses the cause of drain blockages and the results of any drain unblocking work.
What Is a CCTV Drain Camera?
Often referred to as a “sewer camera” or “pipe inspector”, a CCTV drain camera is a high-quality, waterproof camera that inspects narrow pipelines and sewage systems underground. These cameras transmit a real-time, high-resolution video, illuminating the exterior wall cavities of a drain with its LED light to provide valuable information to our specialists.
The CCTV drain camera is waterproof and strong enough to endure the harsh environment of a sewer or conduit.
When are they used?
- to inspect what is happening in your drains and pipes, beyond what you can see with the naked eye
- to conduct an accurate drainage survey, for commercial and residential projects
- to accurately diagnose what might be causing a blocked drain
Providing Accurate Reports and Data
Sumich Plumbing & Drainage will provide you with footage produced from the drain camera on a DVD so you can share the files with your developer and/or Auckland Council as an accurate assessment of what is happening in your drains and pipelines.
We can also draw up a written plan, if required, to go along with your CCTV drain inspection video file.
Drain Pipe Location
In addition to our CCTV service, we also have the equipment and expertise to carry out underground service pipe locating. We can locate and mark out the position and depth of existing pipework, saving you time and money when pipes need to be repaired, or additions made to existing pipework.
