CCTV Drain Inspection
Also known as a video drain inspection, this involves us using a closed circuit (CC) drain camera to inspect the drains, pipelines, sewer and storm water lines outside or underneath your property. We run a push through camera into the drain pipes, in order to asses the cause of drain blockages and confirm the results of unblocking work.
When is a CCTV Drain Inspection used?
We use CCTV drain inspection in a variety of circumstances:
- to inspect what is happening in your drains and pipes, beyond what you can see with the naked eye
- to conduct an accurate drainage survey, for commercial and residential projects
- to accurately diagnose what might be causing a blocked drain
- to provide up-to-date video footage that Auckland Council may request before you can develop or subdivide your property
We’re continuously investing in new technology, equipment and cameras to ensure our clients have all the information they need, produced quickly and cost-effectively. With a range of crawlers, drain cameras, and pipeline inspection systems that produce excellent picture quality, we can inspect pipelines from 100mm right up to XXmm, using pan, tilt and zoom capabilities.
Accurate reports and data
The drain specialist team at Sumich Plumbing & Drainage will provide you with footage produced from the Video Drain Inspection on a DVD so you can share the files with your developer and/or Auckland Council as an accurate picture of what is happening in your drains and pipelines.
We can also draw up a written plan, if required, to go along with your CCTV drain inspection video file.
Drain Pipe Location
In addition to our CCTV service, we also have the equipment and expertise to carry out underground service pipe locating. We can locate and mark out the position and depth of existing pipework, saving you time and money when pipes need to be repaired, or additions made to existing pipework.
Frequent Blocked Drains?
If your drains are continually getting blocked, give us a call for accurate drain inspection and diagnosis. Using our drain camera we can identify the cause of the problem and the location of the blockage points.
If any repairs or maintenance work is required, the drain specialist team at Sumich Drainage & Plumbing can offer a full drain repair service.Causes of a Blocked Drain
